From the Principal

I would like to welcome all of the students and parents to the Albert Leonard Middle School Web Site.
We have an excellent staff, a newly renovated facility, an active and supportive parent organization, but our greatest asset is our diverse, talented and exciting student body. The middle school years are often thought of as the time when students find out who they are. They will experience rapid physical and emotional changes as well as new and exciting opportunities. As your child continues to develop, your support will be needed. At Albert Leonard, we want every teacher to be a leader, every parent a partner, and this will ensure every child is a success. It is important that our parents are involved in their child's education. Join the PTA, attend meetings and activities and communicate with your child's guidance counselor and teachers.
I am confident by working together, each of us will not only benefit from our years at Albert Leonard Middle School but will enjoy them as well. With this collaborative effort, I am confident that we can make your experience here the highlight of your educational career.

The Board of Education welcomes community input during the development of the 2010-2011 School Budget.  Members of the community are encouraged to provide input to the Budget process at an open School Budget Community Input Forum on Thursday, February 11 at 7 PM in the New Rochelle High School library.
