Albert Leonard Middle School has a new administrator. The City School District of New Rochelle Board of Trustees approved Interim Assistant Principal Grisel Cordero at its Sept. 10 meeting.
“I am beyond thrilled and deeply honored to be the ALMS Interim Assistant Principal,” said Cordero. “Joining the vibrant ALMS community is a privilege, and I am already so impressed by the warmth, energy, and dedication that make this school such a special place for our children.”
Interim Assistant Principal Cordero’s background includes 15 years of experience in middle school education, from a classroom teacher to a school-based leader with experience in instructional leadership, student support, assessment, professional development, school culture, and family engagement in the New York City Department of Education.
Cordero is looking forward to bringing her experiences into a diverse middle school community and to contributing as a member of the leadership team at Albert Leonard Middle School.
