Dear New Rochelle Community:
The New Rochelle Board of Education, at a meeting Tuesday evening, announced more details regarding the search for, and eventual selection of, the next Superintendent of the City School District of New Rochelle. It also announced that it welcomes applications from community members interested in joining a Citizens Advisory Committee. The Board of Education will consider internal candidates ready to continue the strong progress Superintendent Jonathan Raymond and his administrative team have established, as well as external candidates with proven, top-notch credentials. All candidates must demonstrate the ability to provide next-frontier levels of leadership and strategies that advance achievement for our students. Mr. Raymond Mr. Raymond has announced that he is departing the school district, due to family reasons, at the end of this school year.
